Magma Armor:
Defeat three vulcan at Mt.Zublo and you will (probably) get three magma armors. Equip them and the man with the two lava worms will be easy as a fly. (Keep them for other fire-using bosses.)
Hint:
Walk around with ryu and slash people with your sword. Sometimes you get money.
Easy Experience:
Later in the game, develop the fairy village until you have a copy shop, and copy a Ivory Dice until you have 12. Then use those dice in battle on a enemy (example: the Vulcans in Mt. Zublo). Depending on what enemy you use them on, you`ll get 20,000 to 80,000 experience!
Using the Ivory Dice in battle increases the amount of experience points you gain in battle. Using it once doubles the points gained, twice quadruples the points gained, and three times multiplies it by 8.
Free Berries:
For free berries go to the coffee shop and kick the tree with apples in it for berries the berries give you 5 hps back.
Get Ladon:
If you get all of the dragon genes then you will be able to get him for your master
Master of Agility:
To get the fairie Meryleep to become your master, go east of Wyndia where there is a spring that is said to be home of the fairies. Have Peco run and knock a rock into the middle of the pool, and a fairie will appear. She will send you on a mission to get an object stolen from her by a crow. Then go to the mountain west of the Arena, and if you walk behind the mountain a ? should appear. Enter have Peco hit the tree with the crow on it. Take the object back to the fairie and she will offer to be your master. Your agility will go up +2, but your Hp, Power, and Defense go down -1.
Beat the Dragon Zombie Easily:
Battling with the Dragon Zombie after Ryu becomes older is almost always a tough battle because of it`s poisoning abilities. To quickly destroy this monster have Ryu cast all his best heal spells on the Creature. This takes care of him in no time. This trick will work on any undead creatures, EXCEPT vampires. Note: Do not use items! Healing Herbs and Vitamins WILL give HP back to the Zombies
Lotsa Life:
When you grow old select rei and go to the moutain where you fight the GooTitan and use pilfer as many times as you want and you will get the life shard and your life will go up one point with one so collect as many as posible.

Get the Beast Spear:
As soon as you beat Gaist, you need to search his ashes. You will then get the Beast Spear. This weapon will increase his attack by 150! The only drawback is that it will drain about 9 to 10 HP from him every round.
Get the Ding Frog Fishing Lure:
To get the ding frog you have to be a MASTER OF FISHING++. This is a lure that attracts everything but the guy only gives you 3. You can find him at the cliff just South of Steel Beach.
Get the Royal Sword and the Life Armor:
The way to get the Royal Sword and the Life Armor is to fish near Kombinat with the Deep Diver lure until you have 2 Whales, 4 Spearfish and 4 Barandy.(The Barandy fish is at the spot south of the Northern Checkpoint. You`ll need a Frog lure for these fish.)After you have managed to get all the fish, return to Kombinat and use a Coin lure to reel in the big, fat thing swimming around. He will ask if you want to buy something. Say yes and the sword and armor is yours! Note that the Life Armor will let you regain a few HP every round.
Infinite Croc Tears:
Go to Ceder woods and find the pond go to the middle of it were there is a small little ditch and press x and you should get a Croc Tear also you can keep pressing the x butten and get infinite of them
20% off magic:
If you want to get 20% off of magic equip 2 Shaman`s rings and it should work. This is good for ryu with his accension ability because it takes alot of AP.
Have Vital Item Flier:
Go to Genmel when you`re still a child, go near the item shop and press R1 and change the camera.You`ll see a manillo eating in the corner.Talk to him and he will give you the flier. This will decrease your buying items to 20 to 30% OFF!
More fairies:
Get the Fairie Taria from the three Fairies after you fix the lighthouse. To get more Fairies, place them in the hunting section. Note: For this to work you have to go there after you are older (when Garland tried to kill you, and you disappeared).
Unlimited Life Shards:
Life Shards can increase your HP. To obtain more, get Rei in your party and fight a Gootitan. Use Rei`s Pilfer until a Life Shard is obtained. Then, repeat to collect as many shards as desired.
Unlimited Magic Shards:
To obtain more, get Rei in your party and fight a Revenant. Use Rei`s Pilfer until a Magic Shard is obtained. Then, repeat to collect as many shards as desired.
Coupons:
After getting Momo back when your an adult, go to Dauna Mine. There is a room behind the location where the Dragon Zombie was fought. Have Momo blast the weakened wall at this location to get the coupons inside. Equip it to get a 10% discount on all items that are bought.
Control the Kaiser form:
Usually, Ryu will not have control of the Kaiser. Select Infinity + Trance + Radiance for it to work correctly.
Easily defeat the Goddess Of Destruction:
Just before the last battle, Myria will transform herself into the Goddess of Destruction, with about 20,000 HP. Defeat her by transforming Ryu into Myrmidon (Frost + Trance + Force), then choose Aura. This will allow more than 1,000 damage to be done on each turn. Do this repeatedly until she has been defeated. Be ready to use your healing items and assign one or two of your party members to replenish Ryu`s AP.
Hide And Seek, Wyndian Kids:
After Ryu matures, he can be apprenticed to the kids in Wyndia that were in the hide-and-seek game earlier. First, find them in a hide-in-seek game around. They can be found in the following locations.
Bais: In B3 of the Dauna Mine
Lang: Behind a tombstone in the Wyndian cemetery
Lee : In the Eastern Wyndian Checkpoint, in a corner behind the guards
Wynn: In the lower level of Junk Town on the left side
Kill Vulcans in volcano:
The Vulcans in Mt. Zublo are usually very hard to kill. However, they are worth 300 exp a throw, which at that stage in the game is a lot. Use this trick to kill them easily. First, before entering Mt. Zublo, buy a large amount of Molotovs (20-30) from Wyndia. After buying these, go into the volcano. When you meet a Vulcan, get one of your characters to use one Molotov on the Vulcan. It should heal it and the message Vulcan begins to move! should appear. After that, destroy it. Ice spells are very effective and the Jump skill (if present) also works well
Hints:
Easy exp.:
Get an Ivory Dice and copy it at the fairy village until you get twelve and use them on a Goo Titan or a boss to get more exp (note one ivory dice= double exp 2 dices=quad exp)
The lost jewel:
Go east where the bandits live near Genmal and use Peco`s kick by using the triangle button at the tree and a crow will fly out and drop a jewel and you can sell this for 5000 zenny but if you read the sign near Wyndia it tells you that fairys live in the forest so go there and use peco to kick the stone in and the pond and Meryleep will appear and offer to be your master
Easy ghost battles:
In Mcneil manor use heal on the ghosts to kill them easy.
Control the infinity gene:
Use the infinity and failure gene together.
Get a deep diver lure:
Catch 5 whales and 2 squid and go to Bunyan. He will then give you a deep diver lure and if you go to geiotto the fish master he will do the same only that you get 5 of them but you have to give him all your whales.
Easy fights:
When your in the lighthouse poison or do something nasty to all of your charaters and the enemy will confuse himself. Only works if you are about 5 levels higher than the enemy.
Glitch:
When you are in steel beech after you complete the game 4 times go inside the freighter and the floor will be red and this causes you to fight a nut archer but with all gold for his colur (this does nothing but its worth a laugh)
Mammoth combo gene:
In any battle use the miracle and trance gene and the mutant to turn into a mammoth dragon and this beast has 3000hp and has a move which can inflict 2300 damage maximum.
Trygon:
In any battle use the fire frost and thunder for the gold dragon
Easy magic points:
When you are fixing the ariel on the teleport tower after you have been on the black ship steal magi shards from the ghosts which have bow and arrows.
Ladon the dragon god:
When you complete the game save it when it asks you and when you load the game you will appear in front of the new master
